This Privacy Policy explains how CelebCount ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App. By using CelebCount you agree to this policy.
CelebCount does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information such as your name, email, or contacts. The only text you may enter (a celebration message or name) is stored only on your device and is never sent to us.
Your preferences (countdown time, style, theme, language, sound, "Remove Ads" status) are saved locally on your device using standard on-device storage.
Unless you purchase Remove Ads, the App shows advertising provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID), IP address, coarse location, and app-interaction data, in order to deliver and measure ads (personalized or non-personalized).
On iOS, personalized ads require your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency
prompt. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking,
and reset your advertising identifier in your device settings.
The one-time Remove Ads purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. We only receive confirmation of whether the purchase is active, which is stored on your device to disable ads.
We do not sell your personal information.
CelebCount is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
On-device data remains until you delete the App or clear its data. Data handled by Google and Apple is retained according to their respective policies. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
