Privacy Policy

Applies to the mobile application Coloring Fun ("the App") on the App Store and Google Play.

1. Who we are

Coloring Fun is developed and published by an independent developer ("we", "us"). For any question about this policy or about data in the App, contact us at haily.211194@gmail.com. We answer privacy requests within 30 days.

2. Information we do not collect

• No sign-up, no login, no user account.
• No name, email address, phone number or postal address.
• No contacts, no calendar, no location data, no microphone recording.
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDK is embedded in the App.
• We never sell or rent data, because we do not hold any.

3. Information that stays on the device

The App stores the following in its own private storage on the device. We have no access to it, and it is never uploaded to a server of ours:

• Coloring pages and drawings the child creates, including saved artwork.
• Photos the user picks from the photo library to color on, and any drawing made on top of them.
• Preferences: chosen language, music and sound-effect switches.
• Counters used to decide how often an ad may appear, and a flag recording whether an ad-free subscription is currently active.

Deleting the App removes all of this data from the device. Artwork the user exported to the photo library or shared with another app stays where it was saved and is governed by that app's or the operating system's own settings.

Photo library access

The "Color Your Photo" feature asks the operating system for permission to open the photo library, and the "save artwork" feature asks for permission to write an image back to it. Photos are processed entirely on the device and are not transmitted anywhere. Permission can be withdrawn at any time in the device settings; the rest of the App keeps working.

4. Advertising (free version)

The free version of the App shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.). To deliver and cap those ads, the AdMob SDK may process technical data such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, device model, operating-system version, coarse region and ad interaction events. This processing is carried out by Google as an independent service provider.

An active Coloring Fun Premium subscription turns every ad off, so no ad request — and therefore no ad-related data transfer — happens while it is active.

On iOS, personalized advertising also depends on the system tracking permission; if it is not granted, ads are non-personalized. On both platforms ad personalization can be limited in the device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

5. Subscriptions and payments

Coloring Fun Premium is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through the App Store or Google Play. Payment, billing details and renewal are handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or store a card number, a billing address or an Apple ID / Google account. The App only keeps a local flag saying whether a subscription is currently active, so ads can stay off. Purchase terms are described in the Terms of Use.

6. Children's privacy

The App is designed for children to use with a parent's knowledge, and it is built so that no personal information about a child is required or collected. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and there is no chat, no profile, no user-to-user communication and no social login in the App.

• Purchase and settings screens sit behind a simple parental gate (a small arithmetic question) inside the Parent Zone.
• We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and with Article 8 of the EU GDPR concerning children's data.
• If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information to us, email haily.211194@gmail.com and we will delete it.

7. Legal basis and your rights

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, the legal basis for showing ads in the free version is consent (collected through the platform's tracking prompt and, where required, a consent dialog), and the legal basis for processing a purchase is performance of a contract. Because we do not hold identifiable data about you, there is normally nothing for us to export or delete on request — but you may still contact us to exercise your rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, or to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Requests concerning advertising identifiers can be directed to Google through the links in section 4.

8. Data retention and security

Data created in the App lives on the device until the user deletes the artwork or removes the App. We keep no server-side copy. Any correspondence you send us by email is kept only as long as needed to answer it.

9. International transfers

The third parties listed in section 4 operate globally and may process data in countries outside your own, under their own safeguards and standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the App release notes.
